JSC “Kazakhstan Kagazy” (hereinafter the “Group” or the “Company”) reports about results of activity, including the outcomes of measures being undertaken by top management on improvement of situation and further stable development of the Company. Revenue of the Group for 12 months of 2010 (on the basis of unaudited consolidated financial report) increased by 8.7% in comparison with the same period of last year and amounted to KZT 10 222 541 thousand. Gross profit has grown by 6%. Production plans of the Group for 12 months of 2010 were fully implemented.

PAPER BUSINESS

The LLP “Kagazy Recycling” retains leading positions in production of paper, container board and corrugated cardboard in Kazakhstan. For 12 months of 2010 the Company produced 43 728 tons of corrugated materials which is by 9.1% more than the volume of the same period of last year - 40 055 tons and 102 959  thousand m2 of corrugated cardboard which is by 23.5% more in comparison with the same period of 2009 -  83 339 thousand m2. Production volume of corrugated packaging reached record-breaking indicators within the entire history of the paper plant.

LOGISTIC BUSINESS

Logistics business also completed the reporting period with positive results. In May, 2010, the structure underwent optimization which allowed improving operational activity and preserving cost of provided services on the level of 2009. The client base increased by more than three times in comparison with the beginning of 2010. Large clients were attracted. Warehouse area’s occupancy reached 51.8% as of the year -end.

The Group is a town-forming enterprise with the total quantity of employees of 1 200 people. Kazakhstan Kagazy contributes to development of economy in the region of its operations. The Group transferred KZT 577 million of primary budget payments merely in 2009; KZT 540 million – in 2010.
