Almaty, Kazakhstan, 30 March 2012 - Kazakhstan Kagazy JSC (the “Group”) informs that Amirzhanov Nurlan Kakenovich has been appointed as an Independent Director.

On its meeting held on March 30, 2012 the Board of Directors of Kagazy Investments JSC has appointed Mr. Amirzhanov Nurlan Kakenovich as an Independent Director of the Board.

Mr. Amirzhanov represents interests of the Creditors Committee of the Group.

Amirzhanov N.К. (1966) has served as Chairman of the Board of Saving Pension Fund NefteGaz-Dem from 1997. Prior he took leading positions in Halyk Bank, National Bank of RK and also worked at Almaty Stock Exchange.
