Update regarding litigation

The Company and certain of its subsidiaries (the “Kazakhstan Kagazy Group”) commenced court proceedings in the High Court of Justice in England in August 2013 against Baglan Abdullayevich Zhunus, Maksat Askaruly Arip and Shynar Dikhanbayeva.

The Kazakhstan Kagazy Group and Mr Zhunus have settled the claims brought against Mr Zhunus in all jurisdictions.

The Kazakhstan Kagazy Group will continue to pursue its claims, which stand at US$250 million, against Mr Arip and Ms Dikhanbayeva.
